Hiii,

I am a queer artist based in the heart of the Bible Belt. From a young age, I found safety in nature, namely the airport woods near my home. Early on, the trees were comforting to a boy who felt things so immensely and felt he had no outlet. The critters of my home, like the box turtles and herons made me feel a sense of wonder and curiosity that later carried over to my own self exploration. They taught me to play and art became the outlet.

As I began to create more art in my late twenties, nature, feelings, belonging and humor quickly became the theme as they were always the theme of what made me come to life. One thing about the woods, the bayou and the coastlines of the gulf is that there are no closets, and every living thing joins in the chorus of the desire to be free. Thus, I create art that has sass and funk. And art that is often fun and free. Because I paint the world I want to live in.
